We had a customer today who came to us with her hair covered in mayonnaise. There are many myths out there as to how to kill lice, and mayonnaise is on top of that list. The truth is mayonnaise is not deadly, and it will not kill lice, and it will most definitely not loosen or break up the nits (eggs). As horrible as it may seem when you find out your child just came home from school with lice, it's not that bad. All you need is a non-toxic, pesticide free enzyme that has been tested, and proven that lice are not immune to, and an extra fine tooth comb. |
